Loving welcome, nice staff. Eating super fresh and delicious at any time with pleasure. Fair price performance ratio
It’s my worst Chinese food experience in Munich.. the service was super slow and the owner of the restaurant discriminated Chinese compared to how he treated Germans eaters.. take an example of our experience, I came earlier than a couple of German customers and we wanted to sit close to window.. but the owner said no and said that the German women was pregnant.. We of course would like to pass the chance to them, but, the German couple at least had 2 bottles of wines during their whole dinner.. the only reason was that the owner wanted to please German customers.. also regarding the service, the food always come fast in tables where sits Germans and super slow serve for table where sits Chinese customers.. on top of that the food was not fresh at all, we had stomachaches afterwards.. All in all, the food is not authentic and service is really bad.. so if you want to try Authentic Chinese Hotpot in Munich, it’s better to try Chois..
The best hot pot restaurant in Munich! The grill dishes are also recommended!
Not recommended as a vegetarian! The two of us paid € 70 for a hotpot with a few plates of vegetables. Cheek
Great hotpot in Munich. Service was very friendly and attentive. With all you can eat, the fresh ingredients were always brought quickly. The quality of the ingredients was very good and everything tasted great. My highlight: the spicy marinated beef It is definitely worth a visit!
The food was delicious. In the room you have the feeling of sitting in a hotpot yourself.
A very authentic place, it is interesting to prepare food for yourself, the choice of products is large, they bring two types of broth of your choice from ordinary chicken to very spicy, you choose the sauce for yourself, which also makes it possible to vary the taste. I liked the idea that everything you take must be eaten, otherwise you have to pay for every 100 grams that are not eaten ... So for an interesting evening, right for sure)
The food are fresh, very tasty and good service!
Was my 2nd hotpot. (All you can eat) Goods to 2. Spontaneously were greeted nicely. Was very well attended but still got a place. Reserving is an advantage. The service was great, no rushing, take the time to explain the hotpot and when ordering. Since the hotpot is actually something special, they even have a serving robot. Finally: there is the note 3 € per 100g of leftovers. Is more of a deterrent for people who want it.
The ingredients were not fresh at all, and the waiter removed the dishes we hadn't eaten from the table before we finished eating them and brought them to the back kitchen. The attitude of the owner and waiter is extremely bad, and friends around have a bad impression of this store.
Traditional Chinese hotpot as well as BBQ. You can choose all kinds of vegetable or meat on the menu.
The food is pricy based on its quality. All do can eat selection is not so much but the portion is very big. Meat and noodles are good. But the chinesische Morcheln is very thick and not eatble. I do not think I will go there again
Lovely place with nice soup bases and hotpot ingredients. Price is similar to the other hotpot places in Munich.
The reputation of this store among our local international students has not been very good. Incomplete statistics are about the ratio of likes to dislikes of friends I have asked about 1:9. I went to eat it once two years ago and didn't come again because it was unpalatable. This time, a friend came to play and decided to give this store another chance with the mood of giving it a try. It was even more disappointing than the last time. This time it was because of poor service attitude. We waited for 55 minutes from entering the store and sitting down until the waiter finally asked us to order a drink (note that it was a drink, not a drink). I have never given a bad review to another restaurant on Google. This is the first time I have given a bad review.
When I came to Munich from Berlin and saw Chongqing flavors on the map, I rushed to the restaurant immediately. Barbecue and Maocai were authentic! Back home in one second! Maocai's portion is enough to drink soup! Barbecue is also the taste of home. The boss is super good. It was about to close and he reopened the fire and gave us an extra portion of roasted pig's feet. All in all it is very delicious and very awesome?
The closest you can get to the authentic Chinese regional kitchen in Munich. I am more a type that eat and leave and not do review, but this one is highly recommended. We tried the hot pot, the selection and ingredients took me "back to China" and we all enjoyed it, not too crowded in a later Monday afternoon, Covid-19 complying, there are table outside and most of all public parking in front (bith side of the road).
favourite Hotpot in Munich - authentic and delicious chinese cuisine
Great Chinese BBQ and real Sichuan hotpot, all the ingredients are brought from Sichuan, I was amazed and go again for sure.
I did the all you can eat 火锅 (Chinese hotpot) and tried the 串串香 (Chinese BBQ) at Tschungking Hotpot 重庆火锅! Half mala broth, half tomato broth. I was K.O.ed halfway due to the spiciness ?? but I knew what I was getting myself into. Very authentic broth! They offered a myriad of meat, fish, vegetables and noodles and tofu for this hotpot, selection seems endless. Our waitress was an adorable middle age woman who was probably the only one working to serve everyone one a Saturday night but she worked do hard and diligently!
The hot pot was meh. But the BBQ skewers we're pretty great. Go on Thursdays cause they have 12% off
Great hotpot restaurant with authentic hotpot from Sichuan cuisine. An absolute must for lovers of authentic Chinese cuisine!
If you want an authentic hotpot experience, you should definitely visit this restaurant! The spicy sauce is the original Chongqing hot, not the sweet adapted one. Go challenge if you think you are a Chili-lover !
Excellent food, best hot pot in Munich. Very friendly service.
I would highly recommend it for all of you to visit #TschungKing #Hotpot for its summer special - #BBQ. I was there yesterday and the food was amazing. Especially for the ones who are #spicy lovers. It definitely is the place you should go. Don't miss out the best choice of this summer !!!!! #yummy #summer #bbq #chinesefood
My mother, it's so delicious. I've had the best barbecue and take-away food in Germany! ! ! ! ! Especially Brain Flower recommended by Invincible There are activities now! ! ! Both children and beauties send shaved ice! ! (I claim to be a beauty and a child) ! ! It was so delicious that I didn’t have time to take a picture. I continued! ! !
The Best Hotspot I've ever eaten! ;)
A piece of real China in the middle of Munich, independently recommended by several friends, I had to try that. Original Chinese food was promised, just like the Chinese eat in China, and I was not disappointed, but pleasantly surprised. It is clearly different from what is meant by Chinese food in Europe, it is more like a kind of fondue. Each table has an embedded hot plate in the middle, on which the fresh ingredients are cooked directly at the table in two containers with specially seasoned broth (one hot, one mild). The taste is very intense and pleasantly different from the typical porridge. There is not green tea as expected, but beer, which suits me very well. Conclusion: insider tip. Everyone should have tried this at least once. The atmosphere is relaxed and very personable. If you are not sure what you want to eat, let the chef recommend something!
Superlecker!!!
The boss always looks very dragged. He is unkind to foreigners and has a sima face to the Chinese. That's it, after all, you eat. I went to New Year's Eve last year, and said there was a special menu, not to mention the price. After asking for the price, we said no, so we showed our faces. Will also take us leftover meat from other tables (pictures can't fit), but disgusting. So never go again.
Good Chinese hotpot. Price is a bit high but it's a buffet with meat in Munich. Good point is the sauce bar where you can make your own. Bad point is the bubble tea, tasted bad and bland.
The buffet was alright. One can argue 27.9 euros could be a little overpriced. Basically, you tell them what you want, and they will bring it for you. It’s also funny how these waiters have a say on how much food they serve you. Sometimes they seriously ration you on expensive food items, but sometimes they are generous, so you just never know. Btw the waiters were too slow to deliver your pot. We sat there for 20 mins before she finally got us the pot we ordered, without which there is no way to start the meal. And also, towards the end of the business hours, the staff got somewhat impatient as if they couldn’t wait to rush us out.
This restaurant is lively, spacious and has a very Chinese design. The hot pot soup base is full and tastes good, especially the tomato soup. The dishes are complete, such as beef, lamb, shrimp, octopus, broccoli, rapeseed, artemisia, etc. The waiters are kind and friendly. When I came here, I noticed that many people choose to dine here.
We were quite hungry and had waited 40 mins to get our “1st“ order. One of us need to go to the bar to pick up the drink so we don‘t have to wait forever. While ordering we found out almost 1/3 of ingredients were out of stock(how can there be no Brokkoli!) At the sauce bar a lot of sauces were already empty at 6:30! The food serving got faster later because some helps came. They realised we were very unhappy so they offered us free desert but again we waited at least another 30 mins for desert and our bill. In the end we wanted to pay by card but their machine didn’t work. It’s unbelievable so many things work so poorly there and in the end you still need to pay full price and their price isn’t cheap! I would give 0 star if I can.
Fantastic place for a hotpot in a cold winter night. Despite the limited selection of food (roughly 25-30), the service is top-notch. Price is reasonable too. Will recommend.
The single hot pot was spicy, but quite delicious! The stuff is friendly and prices moderate! Would recommend!
Very good and authentic chinese Hotpot restaurant to a good and fair price. We enjoyed our time here. I’m looking forward to come again to Munich, having the next Hotpot pleasure.
Authentic hotpot place that serves some rare finds as well. Reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and accommodating. All in all a really nice place - only the interior could be a a bit more modern and comfortable.
The armchairs are extremely comfortable and the distance between the tables I find extremely reasonable. There you do not get the feeling of eating cucumbers in the can evening. The beverage selection we found great! The place is always nice and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you. Surely I'm coming here with my family and can rely on being looked after bravely.
Nothing special. Prices doesn't match the service. Overrated
Best hotpot in Germany so far!!!!!
Definitely the best Hotpot restaurant in Munich. The taste is very authentic and the ingredients are super high quality. My biggest compliment goes to the staffs and the owner. Their dedication and their kindness are what takes me back to this restaurant regularly.
Poor experience overall: it’s like a sauna inside from all the hotpots, you can not properly sit at the table because the stove for the hotpot is a massive block in front of your knees, the food is mediocre at best and the price is very high for what you get. You can only order “all you can eat”, even if you are not a big eater. The fixed price per adult is 27€ excl. drinks. I highly discourage you from going to this place. If you want a quality hotpot experience, go to Pot Chois Hotpot & Lounge. I went there and it was great.
Our favorite hot pot place in Munich! We‘ve tried a few already, but this one is optimal! Good choice of the ingredients, generous portions, friendly staff, nice atmosphere - even when it’s full, it doesn’t really feel crowded. Feels authentic and comfortable. Very nice experience! Looks like a nice place to come with a crowd of friends. Definitely one to recommend.
A great hot pot restaurant in Munich! The ingredients are fresh, the store is comfortable, the equipment is high-grade, and there is no hot pot taste on the clothes! Oh, there are pearl milk teas too good! Really praised!
Original Hotpod for me best in Town.o
Tasty & VFM hotpot for mala lovers. It’s all you can eat in about 30 euros with taxes. I loved the flavor of the mala and taste wasn’t very far from authentic as well.
The soup is salty, and a little bit expensive
Spicy and great quality
Tasty food, friendly service, and a cool looking location. All for a decent price. What more do you want in a restaurant?
The best hotpot in Munich, with no doubt! BTW they are also vegetarian-friendly. Besides the really authentic, tasty spicy soup bases, their vegetarian tomato soup base is also wonderful! Don't hesitate, if you are vegetarian but still would like to try hotpot, this is definitely one of very few options in Munich.
